Inaugural 'Tipp/Off Busking Weekend' in Roscrea to aid Tipperary and Offaly charities

Dillon Quirke Foundation and the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund among the groups set to benefit from grassroots music extravaganza

THE inaugural 'Tipp/ Off Busking Weekend' takes place in Roscrea on the weekend of December 20 and 21 next.

The festival is a grassroots initiative that will benefit local charities in north Tipperary and Offaly.

These charities include the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund, the Dillon Quirke Foundation and local hospice groups.

The event is being organised by Roscrea native, Ronan Kenny and he has enlisted the support of an array of Tipperary and Offaly GAA greats, the local Gardai and other personalities.
