Collection of 14 apartments launched in restored Georgian building in Offaly town

CANBE Hospitality is proud to announce the official opening of The Malt Store, a new collection of 14 premium self-catering apartments located in a beautifully restored Georgian building in the heart of Birr.

The historic property has undergone a complete renovation, transforming it into a contemporary accommodation offering while preserving its architectural character.

The development includes a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, designed to meet the growing demand for flexible, spacious stays in the town.

The Malt Store Suites are ideally suited to a variety of guests — including families exploring Birr, wedding guests attending celebrations at County Arms, Dooly’s Hotel or nearby venues, and golfers visiting Birr Golf Club. A special accommodation offer is available for those planning a golf break in the area.

Each apartment is fully self-catering, featuring a modern kitchen equipped with oven, fridge, air fryer, coffee machine, microwave and all essential cookware.

Guests also benefit from complimentary car parking, shared laundry facilities, and bright,
