RAHAN Drama Group present their 13th production in Rahan Community Hall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 13-15, at 8pm each night.
This year's production is 'The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley'.
This is three act comedy which tells the story of a middle-aged bachelor farmer, Gabriel Foley who lives with his aged mother.
The farmer has been unlucky in love many times, much to his mother's frustration.
He then meets the upmarket Hazel Myers and he joins the posh drama group in the nearby town in order to woo her.
But all along Gabriel is unaware that his kind hearted neighbour, Chrissie McCane, fancies him.
She invites Gabriel to the upcoming GAA dance but Hazel puts a spanner in the works when the night night arrives.
The cast features Gabriel's mother, Aggie and her sister Lucy.
We also meet the playwright Morag Delamere and the self-absorbed Clive Snell who has little time for Gabriel.
