The awards night marked the success of the Minor, Senior and Junior teams over the past year

Tullamore Camogie celebrated their significant achievements throughout the last year with a dinner dance night in the The Bridge House Hotel recently.

The night commemorated the contributions of the Minor/Senior/Junior club teams as part of the awards night. The minor team won the Minor A championship title, their first since 2014 and their 3rd title at this level.

This group of girls have tasted success over the years but their achievement in 2025 was the icing on the cake as they secured a comprehensive win over St Cillians in the county final.

Many of the players on this team also played on the Junior and Senior teams who were also honoured on the night for their success in taking the Junior and Senior Cup titles.

The final award of the night, presented by Miriam O’Callaghan, was Club Person of the Year. This was awarded to Eimear Gallagher who gave tirelessly, quietly, and without fanfare which contributed greatly to the club's success.

Team managements were presented with mementos by the players. MC on the night, Padraig Hannon marked International Women’s Day with the reciting of a poem 'She plays'.
