Ceol agus craic promised at Offaly Older Persons' Network 'Rambling House'

Event to take place in Tullamore Rugby Club as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations

Offaly Older Persons' Network are hosting an evening of ceol agus craic on Thursday, March 12, at their Rambling House in Tullamore Rugby Club.

his Seachtain na Gaeilge event promises to be a most entertaining event with music, song, dancing, stories and craic.

There has been a great response to date from musicians and entertainers who eagerly expressed interest in being part of this Seachtaine na Gaeilge event.

The entertainers will include: Ukulele group; Richard Casey, Frances Kawala, Gerry Bruton, Rita Davis, Mick Scully, Pat Minnock, the Durrow Set Dancers, Kieran Guinan, Dave Peyton, Johnny Butterfield and friends.

Doors will open at 7.30pm with the event starting at 8.00pm. Admission will be €10 and you can pay at the door.

There will be a raffle also at break time and the proceeds from this event will go to Offaly Family Carers to support their very important work supporting carers in the county.

This is an event organised by Offaly Older Person’s Network who play an important role in creating social opportunities for us all in the county.

The Network have organised events over the past few years during Seachtaine na Gaeilge, Bealtaine in Offaly, Positive Ageing Week and Social Inclusion Weeks.
