Antoni Sarcevic returned to former club Stockport with the winning goal as Bradford clinched a remarkable 2-1 victory in League One.
Owen Moxon gave the hosts an early lead but City turned the game around in the second half through goals from Will Swan and Sarcevic.
County began strongly with Jack Diamond a lively threat. He fired one shot wide before Owen Dodgson’s low drive was well kept out by Bradford goalkeeper Sam Walker.
Malik Mothersille shot straight at Walker but the home side broke through after 16 minutes when Moxon drilled into the bottom corner from 18 yards.
Walker pulled off two more saves from Diamond as Stockport cut through the visitors at will.
But the game changed completely after half-time substitute Swan levelled for Bradford four minutes after coming on.
Now Bradford were carrying the threat as Corey Addai saved from Max Power and Sarcevic.
But the Bantams completed their comeback after 72 minutes when Sarcevic thrashed home from a tight angle.
Walker twice saved from Jayden Fevrier before Odin Bailey headed a big chance wide.
Benony Andresson thought he had equalised right at the end but Walker pushed his header on to the post.
