The dramatic karst landscape of the Burren in County Clare
Last Friday night Roscrea Trail Blazers finally got a small break in the weather for their walk around the Lough Boora Parklands.
The Roscrea based group enjoyed the 9km flat walk and also took advantage of the clear skies to do a little star gazing. Well done to everyone who made the effort.
The group had a very busy 2025 with trips to Madeira, the UK and numerous hikes around Ireland and 2026 is shaping up to be every bit as busy with trips to Austria, Snowdon, island trips, charity walks and numerous challenge walks to be completed.
They have no walk scheduled for this Friday night as they have their Burren weekend away.
They would encourage anyone thinking of taking up hiking for better health or as a way to destress to please make contact with the number below.
