Roscrea public meeting to establish new Living Links group

A public meeting to establish a new support group in Roscrea will be held later this month.

Midlands Living Links have started to talk about setting up support for people bereaved by suicide in the Roscrea area and held their first meeting last month.

They would now like to build on this and welcome others in Roscrea and surrounding areas to join the conversation about local need and what support might be helpful.

They are seeking to talk to the the family members and friends of people who have experienced loss by suicide.

They are also looking for volunteers who are willing to be trained in offering a listening and support service to others.

The group are hoping over the coming months to get some local people together who are interested in setting up a local support group.

Their next meeting takes place on Monday February 23rd at 7.30pm in the Age Friendly Centre in Roscrea. All are welcome.
