Tips to Park Smart
Gardaí in Offaly and Tipperary have curculated advice for local motorists to park safely and minimise the risk of your vehicle being targeted by thieves or vandals.
Gardaí are advising residents and motorists to stay vigilant and to take the following precautions:
Lock all car doors and remove valuables from display and don't leave your car running outside your home or premises.
Secure all downstairs windows and doors to prevent car thieves accessing your property and store house and car keys safely (away from windows and doors)
Activate your house alarm and contact Gardaí if you notice anything suspicious.
