The woman was arrested for her own safety.
A VERBALLY abusive woman was ejected from a Birr pub during a recent weekend, a Garda spokesperson told The Midland Tribune.
The incident happened at 11pm on a Saturday night. “The woman was highly abusive to the security staff in the pub,” the spokesperson said. “She was highly intoxicated. The Gardaí were called and when they arrived she was verbally abusive to them as well. She was arrested for her own safety and issued with a Fixed Charge Notice.”
