Yvonne O'Toole was awarded a Fellowship Diploma in Performance with Honours, from the Victoria College of Music & Drama, London.

LOCAL singer and vocal educator Yvonne O’Toole is marking a significant milestone in a career defined by discipline, versatility, and a lifelong passion for singing.
With 27 years of formal vocal training and over 20 years of professional performance experience, Yvonne has built a reputation grounded in artistic integrity and sustained excellence.
Her musical foundation is firmly classical, developed through decades of structured study, examinations, and performance practice. She recently achieved one of the highest distinctions available in practical music performance where she was awarded a Fellowship Diploma in Performance with Honours, from the Victoria College of Music & Drama, London, achieving 100%.
Alongside her classical background, Yvonne is an established crossover performer, with professional experience spanning classical repertoire, musical theatre, contemporary, popular, and traditional music. Her work across diverse performance settings has contributed significantly to her expressive range and stage presence, supporting performances across concerts, weddings, cultural events, and private engagements.

A defining feature of Yvonne’s career is her commitment to lifelong learning. She continues to train and refine her voice, having studied for the past 17 years with her current teacher, Marie Walshe. In addition to her performance career, Yvonne is the founder of Voice By Yvonne O'Toole, a singing academy dedicated to nurturing vocal technique, musical understanding, and confidence in singers of all ages. Her work as a vocal educator has also been formally recognised by the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where she has been acknowledged as a Spotlight Teacher and received a Spotlight Teacher Award in recognition of her students’ outstanding achievements in singing examinations.
