Gardai say Gigi Florian Calin has been located following the urgent appeal issued last week
Gardaí say a missing person appeal for a 44-year-old man which was issued on Wednesday, February 4 has been stood down.
In an update issued on Tuesday morning, they say that Gigi Florian Calin has been located "safe and well" and that no further action is required.
Gigi was reported missing from his home in Tullamore last week sparking an urgent nationwide appeal.

Amid concerns for his wellbeing, gardaí sought the help from members of the public in locating Gigi who was last seen in the Tullamore area wearing a blue tracksuit, blue coat and a white cap on Wednesday 3rd February 2026 at 1:00pm.
While they have confirmed Gigi has been located, no further information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
A spokesperson for the gardaí has thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance with the appeal.
