ALERT: Offaly commuters warned of disruption to rail travel this weekend

Offaly people are being warned of disruption to rail travel this weekend due to works taking place. 

Due to track renewal works between Portarlington and Athlone, bus transfers will operate between Heuston and Athlone on the Heuston to Galway and Heuston to Westport / Ballina routes.

The bus transfers will be in place on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

There will also be a revised schedule with Irish Rail advising people to check it Journey Planner before travelling.
