It's alleged they both attacked same victim on same date in Tullamore

Prosecutions came before Tullamore District Court

TWO people have been accused of assaulting a male, causing him harm, in Tullamore last month.

Dita Curiare (43) and Razim Ciurar (45), both of Church Hill, Tullamore are alleged to have assaulted the person at a separate residence in Church Hill on December 19 last.

An interpreter assisted when the prosecutions came before the local District Court and Judge Andrew Cody was told by Sergeant Richard Thornton that directions were not yet available from the DPP.

Sergeant Thornton sought a remand for a further four weeks.

Judge Cody remanded both accused on continuing bail to appear in court on February 25 but made the order peremptory against the prosecution, meaning that the cases might not proceed if directions from the DPP are not available on that date.
