Plans unveiled to convert garage behind pub in Offaly into off licence

Plans have been unveiled to convert garage storage area behind a pub in Offaly into an off licence.

A planning application for the development is currently being considered by Offaly County Council.

Permission is being sought by Frank Hynes for the development to the rear of the Corner House at 45 JKL Street in Edenderry and fronting on to Fairgreen.

Permission is being sought for a change of use of an existing single storey garage/store to off licence use on the ground floor and associated alterations to the elevation fronting onto Fairgeen to include a new shopfront.

Also included in the application is the construction of a first floor extension for office use and all associated site works and service connections.

A decision is due from Offaly County Council on the development in mid-February.
