IN PICTURES: Outstanding Offaly students come out on top at Student Enterprise County Final

Over 100 students from 10 secondary schools in Offaly participated

The Student Enterprise County Final was held in the Tullamore Court Hotel last Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Winners Millie Keenahan, Jack Keenahan, Nikita Greidans, Libby Lynch, and Andrea Mecionyte from Tullamore College

Winners from Tullamore College, Coláiste Íosagáin and other schools across the county put their entrepreneurial skills to the test and came out on top with some fantastic ideas and products.

Local Enterprise Office Offaly have announced that teenage entrepreneurs from Tullamore College and Gallen Community School, Ferbane will represent Offaly at this year’s Student Enterprise National Final on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Over one hundred students from ten secondary schools in the county participated in the County Final.

1st Place - Jack Keenahan & Nikita Greidans with their business Blackwood Bait & Tackle from Tullamore College.
2nd Place - “MC Woodcraft” Juris Chornyy & Conn McManus Coláiste Íosagáin, Portarlington
3rd Place - “Scentsible” Paige Quinn & Charlotte Mathews from Killina Presentation Secondary School

The Most Innovative Product Award was won by “Little Helper” Andrea Mecionyte from Tullamore College.

The Sustainability Award was won by “DJ Calf Crates” Darragh Kelly & John Buggy from Killina Presentation Secondary School.

The Best Business Report Award was won by “Mark My Cutlery” Ruadhán ÓhAirmhí, Donagh Keane Conor Fitzpatrick from Coláiste Choilm, Tullamore.

The Best Marketing Award was won by “Charmed by Luck” Ellen Nolan, Grace Harte & Ella Long from St. Brendan’s Community School, Birr.

The One to Watch Award was won by “Cleat Cologne” Neil Gaffey & Niall Clerkin from Ard Scoil Chiaráin Naofa, Clara.

The Best Stand Award was won by “Jamming Jewellery” Izabella Carroll, Alannah Reilly, Alex Lennon, Nathan Brennan from St. Mary’s Secondary School, Edenderry.

The Merit Award was won by “Forever Florals” Rachel Kenny, Aoife Moylan, Leah Power, Tiffany Chen from Banagher College, Coláiste na Sionna.
