IN PICTURES: Couple in the Midlands have amazing Disney fairytale themed wedding

Tale as old as time as Rosenallis couple tie the knot

A bride and groom in the Midlands gave their wedding day Disney fairytale vibes, basing the theme on the Beauty and the Beast. Donna Heffernan and Ben Flanagan were married in Rosenallis Church in Laois, on June 15, with a reception in the Midlands Park Hotel.

The romantic theme can be seen in the cake with the words 'tale as old as time', the invitations to 'be our guest', the decor on the tables and even the table names.
Their Maid of Honour was Lauren Heffernan, Best Man: Craig Smith, Bridesmaid: Tammy Cahill, Groomsman: PK Gregory
Mother of the Bride: Josephine Heffernan, Father of the Bride: Tommy Heffernan, Mother of the Groom: Jennifer Gregory.
The couple honeymooned in the Canary Islands which they say is "only a stones throw away from home" where they had their first adventure as a married couple.
Thanks to the couple for sharing their day with the Leinster Express / Laois Live, and thanks to photographer Aoileann from Wedding Photography Laois in Ballyroan.
"This wedding was an honour to photograph.  I have worked with Lauren and Josaphine before, as well as with others in their extended family, which is the best compliment a professional can ever receive and displays huge trust. This was another amazing celebratory day with Donna and Ben, where every little detail was planned and organised to create a magical day," the photographer said.
Other suppliers, many from Laois, included Brophy Films from Portlaoise, Wedding Florals by Yvonne, Eve's Bridal, Church Music by the McGovern Sisters, Hair by The Company, Makeup by Niketa and evening Entertainment by The Vows "who kept us dancing all night" according to the happy couple.
