FIFTY eight excited Tullamore College students spent an unforgettable three-day science-themed trip in Paris in May.
The adventure began with a visit to a planetarium, followed by one of the highlights of the trip — a climb to the second level of the iconic Eiffel Tower, where students were treated to breathtaking 360-degree views of the city.
Day two was packed with learning and discovery, as the group explored the Air and Space Museum and the National History Museum.
They also enjoyed a guided tour of Paris, taking in the capital’s most famous sights and landmarks.
On the final day, students visited the Exploradome, an interactive science centre, before squeezing in a quick shopping stop at Aeroville Shopping Centre.

A particularly special moment on the trip was being flown to Paris by one of our own — Captain Lorna Coll, a parent in the school community.
Sincere thanks to Ms Howlin for planning and organising this incredible experience, and to the staff who accompanied the group: Ms Burke, Ms Flynn, Mr Doolan, and Ms Connell.
