The new car park which has been developed at Ballycommon
TWO new developments - on the Grand Canal and near Lough Boora Parklands in Offaly - will be officially opened on Wednesday next.
The Leabeg to Boora link will be opened at Lough Boora Discovery Park on Wednesday morning at 10.30am by the Cathaoirleach of Offaly County Council, Cllr Audrey Hennessy Kennedy.
At 12 noon the Cathaoirleach will officially open the Ballycommon Trailhead in Ballycommon on the banks of the Grand Canal.
Both developments are a further expansion of walking and cycling facilities for locals and visitors alike.
