The O'Molloy clan association held a very successful clan gathering in Tullamore last weekend.
The gathering was attended by local clan members and also more than 40 visitors from overseas travelling to Tullamore.
On Friday, all members met at Esker Hills Golf Club in the evening for registration and then local historian, Caimin O'Brien gave a talk. The talk was followed by refreshments and a social evening.
Saturday, July 27 featured a coach tour of the many O'Molloy sites within Offaly, with lunch at Dan and Molly's pub in Ballyboy.
Saturday night the clan had an evening at Charleville Castle in Tullamore, with music by John Molloy, one of Ireland's leading basses.
The gathering finished on Sunday, July 28 with a tour of Charleville Castle.
