Leaders Barnet leave it late as Lee Ndlovu strike downs Dagenham

Lee Ndlovu scored in stoppage time as runaway National League leaders Barnet edged out visitors Dagenham and Redbridge 1-0.

The Bees posted a 25th league win of the season to move 12 points clear of York ahead of their clash with third-placed Forest Green later on Saturday.

Ndlovu struck in the third minute of added time, with his shot beating Dagenham goalkeeper Louis Jones.

Jones had produced an outstanding performance, making a number of fine saves, but Dagenham could not hold on.

Callum Stead went close for Barnet on more than one occasion, yet it was Ndlovu who won the day just when Dagenham looked as though they might have done enough for a point in their battle to avoid relegation.
