Driving ban for Offaly motorist who was spotted 'driving erratically'
A man from Edenderry was convicted of drink driving during last week's Tullamore District Court sitting after he had been seen by a Garda 'driving erratically'.
Alexandru Vasilas, Apt 4, The Elms, Granary Court, Edenderry was stopped by a Garda on August 16, 2025 on JKL Street Edenderry.
Giving evidence, the Garda said when he saw the car being driven poorly on the street he pulled it over. A subsequent breath test showed a positive reading of 22 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The defending Barrister said the defendant is 36 years of age and has no previous convictions.
Judge Andrew Cody convicted and fined €500 and disqualified from driving for a period of two years.
