Offaly fire service at scene of two-car collision on Tullamore bypass

GARDAI have said that two people were injured in this morning's crash on the Tullamore bypass.

In a statement, the gardai said that along with emergency services they attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving cars that occurred on the N52 at Tullamore this morning (Thursday, October 16) at about 5.55am.

“The drivers of both cars (a woman aged in her 40’s and a man aged in his 20’s) were conveyed to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time,” said the statement.

“Investigations are ongoing,” the statement added.
