Traffic queuing at the stop-go control on the Tullamore bypass this morning
A TWO-car collision has taken place on the Tullamore bypass between the Cloncollig and Clonminch roundabouts.
One car was turned upside down by the impact and another, a white Mercedes, also sustained substantial damage.
Both cars remained on the westbound lane on the N52 road and emergency services, including two units of Tullamore fire brigade, were on the scene this morning.

Gardai are on the scene and a stop-go control is in place but traffic is moving.
The extent of any injuries caused to occupants of either vehicle has not yet been made public.
