Jury discharged at Tullamore Circuit Court

A TRIAL at Tullamore Circuit Court has ended prematurely with the discharge of the jury.

Judge Sinead McMahon told jurors today (October 16) they were being discharged after she had made a decision following legal argument in their absence yesterday.

Barry Murphy (40), Leabeg, Ballycumber went on trial on after pleading not guilty to two counts of threatening to kill or cause serious harm to the woman on July 20, 2022.

The case was adjourned to Tullamore Circuit Court on January 16 next for mention.
