Gardai stand down search for teenage girl missing in the Midlands as update issued
Gardai have stood down the search for a teenage girl who been reported missing in the Midlands since Friday.
Gardaí were seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Aliyah Smyth Donnelly (14) who was reported missing from Portlaoise, Co. Laois since Friday, August 22.
In an update on Monday afternoon, gardai said that Aliyah had been found safe and well. Gardai and her family had been concerned for her welfare.
Gardai thanked the public and media for their assistance.
