Dominic Dohery
Construction leader and former CIF President to speak on business growth, community impact, and building the Midlands economy
Business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs are invited to join Founders Friday, an in-person networking event, on Friday, April 4 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Eugene Kelly’s Bar, Tullamore.
This edition welcomes Dominic Doheny, Joint Managing Director of John Flanagan Developments and former President of the Construction Industry Federation (CIF). Dominic will share his unfiltered business story, lessons from decades in construction, and practical insights for business leaders focused on growth.
Dominic is an accomplished businessman and a passionate advocate for the construction industry. With deep roots in the Midlands, Dominic has long championed balanced regional development, pushing for housing, infrastructure, and enterprise investment outside of Dublin.
“Construction is not just about buildings – it's about building communities, economies, and opportunities,” Dominic has said.

“We created Founders Friday to bring together ambitious business leaders to connect, learn, and be inspired by real stories from those who’ve walked the walk,” added Andrea Scally, COO of Allpro Recruitment. “It’s about community, collaboration, and growth.”
