John Healy who has retired as Principal at Gortnamona NS
A night of celebration was held on Thursday, February 27, to celebrate John Healy’s teaching career and to mark his retirement from Gortnamona N.S. after 11 years as principal.
Gortnamona NS came together for a heartfelt celebration honouring the retirement of John Healy after 11 years of dedicated service.
The evening was filled with laughter, memories, and gratitude as students, staff, and families gathered to express their appreciation.
After 11 years of unwavering dedication, John Healy bid farewell to Gortnamona NS as he steps into a well-earned retirement. Since taking on the role of principal, John has been a guiding force in shaping the school community, fostering academic excellence, and creating a welcoming environment for students and staff alike.
His commitment to every student and their personal growth has left a lasting impact, with generations of students benefiting from his leadership.
