A man has been arrested as gardaí raid a shop in the Midlands as part of a drugs investigation
Laois Gardaí have carried out a raid on a business in Mountmellick.
A business on Harbour Street in Mountmellick was raided by a team comprising local Gardaí and detectives and the Divisional Drugs Unit.
This operation involved the use of a dogs unit and was combatting the sale and supply of drugs locally.
One male in his thirties has been arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
