A GRANDNIECE of the last Member of the British Parliament (MP) for the then King's County visited his final resting place in Durrow during National Heritage Week recently.
Our picture, taken by local photographer and historian, Charlie Finlay, shows Eileen Graham at the grave of her granduncle, the late EJ Graham MP.
Eileen was pictured in Durrow cemetery where she formed part of a group taking a tour of the area for Heritage Week.
Other historic sites in the area, including the old Church of Ireland church, also formed part of the tour.
EJ Graham – a prominent local business man - was elected as an Nationalist MP to the House of Commons as Westminster for the North King's County constituency in 1918 in a by-election.
He served for a brief period before his untimely death at the relatively young age of 51.
