Garda investigation underway as quantity of cash and cigarettes stolen
A number of retail premises in the North Longford area were broken into in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday, March 26.
At the Gala store at Moyne Cross, thieves entered the shop by forcing a side entrance. An amount of money, cigarettes and household items were taken.
At the Gala shop in Ballinamuck, between 4am and 5am, culprits gained entry by breaking the glass in the front door with a pick axe. They made good their escape with a quantity of money and cigarettes.
