GVM Tullamore calf auction supports students at Offaly School of Special Education

LAST Monday (March 3) saw an auction of in excess of 40 calves at Tullamore Mart, with all proceeds going to Offaly School of Special Education.

The auction was a resounding success with €700 in vouchers split between the four highest-priced calves sold on the night.

The representatives of Offaly ICMSA, Chairperson Pat O’Brien, of Corndarragh, and Ronan Feighery of Shannon Bridge, praised all the organisers and said that the night showed the support that local charities could always rely on receiving from the county’s great and vibrant farming community.
