New young voices project coming to Offaly this Easter
A new and exciting project will be happening for Birr Young Voices during the Easter school holidays, leading to a performance during Birr Festival of Music across the May Bank Holiday weekend.
From Monday, April 15 until Thursday, April 18, there will be four fun-packed days of singing, music, rhythm and games, where you can meet new friends and old, and prepare for a great performance on Monday 6 May, as part of the music festival.
Once again, the amazing and dynamic Anne McCambridge, one of Ireland's leading choral directors, will lead this project with a team of musicians.
There is no cost for this project, apart from the €15 enrolment fee. What is required is a full commitment to the four days at Easter, and Monday, May 6, for rehearsal and performance.
The dates are as follows:
Monday, April 15 11am – 3pm Oxmantown School
Tuesday, April 16 10am – 3pm Oxmantown School
Wednesday, April 17 10am – 3pm Oxmantown School
