Tullamore motorist fined €950 for driving with no insurance and licence

Driver escapes disqualification when his case is heard at local district court

The case was heard at last week's sitting of Tullamore District Court

A MOTORIST with and address in Tullamore was convicted and fined €950 for driving with no insurance and no driving licence during the June 25 sitting of Tullamore District Court.

Summonsed was Bonnell Tshabalala, Marian Hostel, High Street, Tullamore and he committed the offences on April 2, 2024, at Tanyard Lane, Tullamore.

The defending solicitor Aisling Maloney pointed out that her client had no previous convictions and “needs the car for his job.”

Judge Andrew Cody convicted and fined as stated. He didn't disqualify from holding a driving licence.
