A large crowd congregated at St. Catherine's Church in Hophill, Tullamore on Good Friday to take part in the annual Churches Together Walk of Witness.
The event which began at 9pm on April 3 was part of a season of togetherness throughout Holy Week with participants advised to bring small lanterns if possible for the journey.

As well as Tullamore, there was events in Rahan, Clara and Tyrrellspass as part of the ecumenical Easter celebrations.
