THE County Arms in Birr has released the first official images of its newly renovated Moorpark Ballroom, following the recent announcement of the much-anticipated reopening.

The images showcase a space that blends timeless elegance with refined, contemporary detail, reflecting the ballroom’s “heritage forward” design concept. Inspired by the Georgian character of Birr, the renovation reinterprets traditional features such as cornicing, ceiling detail and wall panelling for a modern setting.

The project was led by interior designer Susan McGowan and brought to life with the support of local craftspeople and artisans, ensuring the finished space remains closely connected to both the building’s and the town’s history.

Now open for weddings and events, the Moorpark Ballroom continues County Arms’ long- standing tradition of hosting celebrations with exceptional care, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a memorable experience for every couple.

Couples are invited to experience the space in person at the upcoming Wedding Showcase on April 19.
