The HSE must publish a new newspaper notice in relation to hospice proposal in Tullamaore
THE HSE will be required to publish a new newspaper notice in relation to its application for a Midlands' hospice to be located at Arden Lane in Tullamore.
A decision on the facility had been due today October 13 after the HSE provided ''significant further information,'' to the council on the proposed development at the request of the council.
Offaly local planning authority stated that the Newspaper Notice must contain as a heading ''Offaly County Council'', and marked ''Further Information'' or ''Revised Plans'' and state:
1. The name of the applicant.
2. The location, townland or postal address of the land or structure to which the application relates.
3.The reference number of the application on the register.
4.That significant further information/revised plans in relation to the application have been furnished to the Planning Authority, and are available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy at the offices of the Authority during public opening hours.
A submission or observation in relation to the significant further information/revised plans may be made in writing to the Planning Authority on payment of the prescribed fee, not later than 2 weeks after the receipt of the newspaper and site notices by the planning authority. Further consideration of the application will be deferred until the Planning Authority has received the notices referred to.
If notices have not been received by the Planning Authority by the November 6 2025, the application will be deemed to have been withdrawn.
