TULLAMORE Toastmasters are bursting with pride, celebrating the phenomenal achievement of Charles Malone – who was crowned Toastmaster of the Year for the massive District 71.

This incredible win showcases Charles's exceptional dedication, inspiring leadership, and unwavering commitment to the art of communication and leadership development.

District 71 is a huge territory – encompassing all of Ireland, Scotland, and a significant chunk of England.

To be named the best among such a talented and dedicated group is simply extraordinary. This year it's Toastmasters International's centenary – making Charles' win even more momentous!

Charles' Toastmasters journey began in Tullamore back in 2014. His infectious enthusiasm and natural leadership skills were instantly obvious.

He quickly became a vital part of the club, actively participating, mentoring newer members, and constantly pushing himself to improve. His dedication to Toastmasters International's core principles has been unwavering.

Beyond his contributions to Tullamore, Charles played a pivotal role in launching the online club, USS Emerald Isle – a significant undertaking that expanded Toastmasters' reach and impact. And if that weren't enough, he also snagged the prestigious Division Director of the Year award for District 71 – all in Toastmasters International's centenary year!

Charles' three terms as President of Tullamore Toastmasters speak volumes about his exceptional leadership. He inspired and motivated others, fostering a positive and supportive club environment. Under his guidance, the club flourished, reaching incredible milestones and strengthening its ties within the community.

His recent Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award further underlines his commitment to excellence. The DTM is a huge accomplishment, recognizing years of dedicated service and a deep commitment to personal and professional growth. It's a testament to his unwavering dedication to mastering communication and leadership. He also credits the invaluable mentorship of Gearoid Murphy over the past two years as instrumental to his success.
