Fianna Fail farmers and business leades from Offaly head to European Parliment

Mr. Barry Cowen MEP invited over forty Fianna Fail members including people from the farming communities, local businesses and business organisations from County Offaly, to visit the European Parliament in Brussels.

The first of two groups traveled out on Tuesday June 10.

This busy trip included a visit to the Hemicycle in the Paul-Henri Speak Building and a much anticipated visit to the Parlamentarium.

A discussion, followed by a question and answer session was conducted my Mr. Barry Cowen, MEP.

The trip was regarded as highly successful providing a most valued opportunity to visit the Parliament, and well received by all those who attended.
