The Special olympics run programmes like young athletes, fitness captains. Healthy athlete, and leader athlete programmes to name a few, along with running various competitions nationwide, which helps athletes compete at local, regional, national, and world games, the money collected will go towards maintaining these programmes for our athletes.
Organisers want to say a Big thank you to Dunnes stores and Aldi for allowing them to collect at stores nationwide, and to the ''wonderful volunteers who came out and gave there time to help on the day.''
