A Covid vaccination clinic for children will be open this Sunday in Tullamore
FROM last Monday February 20, the HSE is providing Covid-19 vaccines for children aged six months to four years.
Appointments may be booked on www.hse.ie.
Tullamore Primary Care Centre will be running a clinic on Sunday, February 26 next.
* 10am-1.30pm: Over-12s
* 2.30pm-5pm: 6 months -4years
Clinic details will be updated on www.hse.ie on a rolling basis so parents are advised to check the website for updates on clinic availability in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the first Mobile Vaccination Unit to operate in the Midlands will be in operation on the grounds of the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore on Friday next, February 24 from 11am to 3pm,serving Laois, Offaly ,Westmeath, Longford.
The Laois Offaly Community Vaccination Team will welcome all persons 12 years and older who are eligible for Covid 19 booster doses.
The HSE have introduced this unit to allow the Community Vaccination Centre’s to outreach its vaccination program to the general public which includes all persons 12 years and older and Healthcare Workers.
The Mobile Vaccination unit will be run by the ChO8 Community Vaccination Centre’s team of qualified vaccinators and nurses operating the Unit.
