Offaly Fianna Fáil held a successful Town Hall meeting on Friday, May 9 , in High Street, Belmont, drawing a strong turnout from local community groups, clubs, and organisations.

The event forms part of the party’s ongoing commitment to community engagement across the county, under the banner “Coming to a Hall near You.”

Speaking after the event, Deputy McCormack said: “It’s vital that we continue to meet people where they are in their own communities and listen first-hand to the concerns and ideas that matter most to them. Belmont and the surrounding area have a proud tradition of community involvement, and tonight’s turnout reflected that.”

Cllr. Ormond added: “We heard from a wide variety of local groups and we’ve taken on board their concerns. I am committed, along with my party colleagues, to following up on the matters raised and working with the relevant stakeholders to bring about real progress.”

The Town Hall meeting is one of a series being organised throughout the county by Offaly Fianna Fáil, offering a platform for open discussion and active participation. The party has pledged to maintain this grassroots approach to policy development and representation.
