'Tracks & Trails' returns to out television screens this Friday evening

The much-loved RTE television series Tracks & Trails returns this Friday, May 9 at 8pm for its 12th season, offering viewers a fresh and inspiring look at Ireland’s most beautiful walking routes.

This season brings even more fresh air as the four-part series is fronted by broadcaster, musician, and podcaster Doireann Ní Ghlacáin, who explores seven counties alongside an array of well-known Irish personalities.

Among the guests featured will be the well known Offaly journalist, Fiona Mitchell, who will uncover the county's hidden gems.
Each episode captures heartfelt conversations and scenic adventures, as Doireann and her guests traverse woodland paths, coastal trails, historic sites, revealing not just the natural beauty of the landscape, but also the emotional and cultural connections that make these places so meaningful.
