Inaugural GOAL Mile in Offaly village proved to be a festive success

Happy faces at the inaugural Kinnitty GOAL Mile on Christmas Day.

OVER 120 participants turned out for the inaugural Kinnitty GOAL Mile on Christmas Day, raising an impressive €1,977 for charity.

The event showcased the best of community spirit, with runners and walkers of all ages coming together for a great cause.

Thanks to the GAA for providing access to the pitch and facilities, which made the event possible. After the mile, participants warmed up with hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and festive treats, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

Enjoyed by all, this was a fantastic start to what organisers hope will become a cherished annual tradition.
