Congratulations to the Offaly Senior hurlers as their positive start to the Allianz National Hurling league continued with an impressive performance and victory over Antrim. We look forward to their next meeting with Dublin in Croke Park.
Minor Club
The Minor Club information meeting for all coaches and mentors took place on Wednesday 12th in the County Arms Hotel as they prepare for the season ahead. It is great to see the ball wall and astro-turf back in full use as our young players return to training.
Another great weekend in the Birr Minor Club League Forecast with Paul Scally hitting the Exacta predicting all results in all divisions and scooping €500. After three weeks on the overall table Pater Stokes, Neil Rogers and Andrew Moore lead the way on 49 points.

There were no casualties as the six remaining entrants in the winners’ section and the four survivors in the losers’ section made it safely through to Round 4 of our annual GAA Allianz League Last Man Standing competition last weekend. Next weekend is football-only.
