Gardaí have issued a tragic update to the public after a body was found in the search for a young man missing from Clare since Sunday.
Jack Boddy, 20, was reported missing from Lahinch, Co. Clare since Sunday, March 15, 2026, with gardaí and his family expressing concern for his wellbeing.
In a tragic update on Tuesday, gardaí said: "Following the discovery of a body, the missing person appeal in respect of Jack Boddy (20), who was reported missing from Lahinch, Co. Clare since Sunday 15th March 2026 has been stood down.
"Gardaí would like to thank the media for their assistance."
