Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Dublin at the weekend.

In an appeal, issued on Monday evening, they say the fatal incident happened at Courtlough, Man O War, County Dublin, on Sunday evening.

"Gardaí and emergency services were alerted shortly after 7pm when an SUV struck a parked car. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV, a man in his 60s, was transported to Beaumont Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased," said a spokesperson.

Gardai say the local coroner has been notified and that a post-mortem examination will now be arranged.

Any witnesses to this collision or anyone with information about what happened is asked to come forward.

"Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and who were travelling in the area between 6:45pm and 7:15pm on Sunday, November 30 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardai," said the spokesperson.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Balbriggan garda station on 01 666 4493, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
