Robby was repatriated to his home in Quilty, Co Clare on Monday, January 20.
The fundraiser for Robby Kinlan, an Irish man who tragically died while in Thailand, is ending today, January 23, ahead of his cremation.
Friends of the 21-year-old Clare native set up a GoFundMe to help with his journey home, and to ease the already painful burden which his family are experiencing. Since it's inception, an incredible €48,072 has been raised.
The freediver sadly passed away on the island of Koh Tao on Thursday, January 9, where he was found unresponsive in his bed. It has since been confirmed that he died of an acute pulmonary cardiac failure.
Robby was repatriated to his home in Quilty, Co Clare on Monday, January 20.

In an update on the fundraiser, organiser Aleksandra Guziuk, said, "Your generosity has been a great comfort to the family, and we are sincerely grateful for your support. Thank you once again for everything. Please continue to keep Robby and his family in your thoughts."
Funeral prayers were said for the young man in the Star of the Sea Church, Quilty, on Wednesday, January 22.
His cremation will take place today at 3pm in the Shannon Crematorium. It is family flowers only.
In a message on his GoFundMe page, Robby's mother, Tracy King, confirmed the donations will also be going towards the funeral costs, and a plaque in commemoration of him, where his friends and family can walk or gather to remember the young man that is gone far too soon.
Thanking the donators, Tracy said, "We have not, and cannot, think beyond that for the moment."
