Supermarket staff stunned as Paul Mescal and new girlfriend step out in style to Supervalu

Irish acting heartthrob Paul Mescal and his new girlfriend Gracie Abrams have been spotted out shopping in a local Supervalu supermarket over the Christmas period. 

The 28-year-old Kildare native has been in the headlines for all the right reasons this year, most recently for his role in Hollywood blockbuster Gladiator II, but also for his relationship status.

Mescal and his 25-year-old American singer-songwriter girlfriend Abrams have been linked since June and the latest step in their relationship has seen the pair spending time together over Christmas. 

The pair were spotted out doing some grocery shopping in Supervalu in Clonakility, Co Cork with a viral TikTok video of their chance encounter with fans racking up over a million views in just a day.

Supervalu staff member Eva was shocked when the couple asked her "where the eggs were", and later posed for a photo with the celebrity duo and her colleagues.

Dressed in a black 'Duff's Famous Wings' hoodie, black trousers and black Adidas Spezial trainers and a Boston Red Sox cap, the Maynooth native's laidback fashion style inconspicuously blended in with shoppers. 

Abrams also went for the casual aesthetic, sporting a cap from Irish brand RíRá alongside a black hoodie, black jacket, and blue jeans. 

The couple are rumoured to be staying in Paul's west Cork holiday home near Schull, which he reportedly bought in 2022.
