Bus Eireann has issued an update of services affected by the snow across the country. Some of the routes announced will affect Offaly commuters.
The latest update from the company at 2.10pm today listed the following changes and cancellations.

Expressway
Route 4, 13:00 departure will serve Mullinavat / Thomastown / Gowran
Route 8, Cork to Dublin is operating with delays
Route 12, 1300 Dublin/Limerick cannot operate via Roscrea or Nenagh
Route 12, 1400 departure Airport/Dublin/Limerick has been cancelled
Route 20 and X20 Galway to Dublin operating on M6 stopping only in Athlone
Route 64 Galway/ Derry is diverted via Milltown Ballindine & Claremorris.
Northwest
Route 440, 1445 departure from Athlone to Westport has been cancelled
West
Galway City services operating with delays.
Route 70, 1530 Dundalk/Galway and 1800 Galway/Dundalk service have been cancelled.
Southwest
Route 72 - Limerick to Athlone, 1425 & 1725, Limerick/Athlone and 1415 & 1715 Athlone/Limerick have been cancelled
Waterford
All services from Waterford are operating with minor delays
Route 73 to Athlone will operate via Kilkenny and Carlow with some delays.
